Dreamcatchers are a Native American tradition, from the Ojibway (Chippewa) tribe. When used, it was belived that the dreamcatcher would help assure good dreams to those that sleep under them.

A dream catcher is usually placed over the area you would sleep so that the morning light can hit it. By doing so, the dreamcatcher catches bad dreams in its web.
